- A creative and experienced fashion designer with 4+ years of experience and a strong portfolio of innovative designs.
- Passionate about creating styles that reflect effortless island elegance while celebrating individuality and inclusivity.
- Detail-oriented with a deep understanding of fabric, fit, and finish, particularly for tropical climates.
- Up-to-date with global trends, with the ability to adapt them into versatile, island-style pieces for our Sri Lankan audience.
- A natural collaborator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys mentoring and inspiring others on the team.
- Skilled in overseeing the design process, from concept to final product.
What You'll Do:
- Collaborate closely with the Creative Director to interpret and execute the brand’s island-style vision.
- Lead the creative process for seasonal collections, ensuring alignment with Thambili Island’s ethos of laid-back elegance and versatility.
- Design elevated basics and statement pieces that cater to diverse body types, perfect for warm, tropical weather.
- Work with the production team to bring designs to life with impeccable quality and attention to detail.
- Oversee fittings, ensure high-quality samples, and manage the grading process.
- Explore and incorporate innovative techniques, prints, and textures inspired by island life.
